WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE ARE ABOUT...
Flower Mound High School Tech Club is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization providing STEM opportunities to Flower Mound High School students and its feeder schools. We design, build, and program robots and participate in competitions. We are thankful to have the best teachers, mentors, and parents on our side.
We are the future. Kids like us will soon help keep our country safe through cyber defense, financial infrastructure, artificial intelligence, renewable energy supply, atmospheric water harvesting, drone development and space travel. We will be among the first engineers and doctors to design human organs and push the frontier on individualized medical treatments.
So, while we agree that athletics are important, we also firmly believe in the value of robotics and STEM. With the support of our parents and community, and under the guidance of Mr. Slatton, our dedicated teacher and coach, our teams thrive year-round. We currently compete in two major programs: the FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) and the FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC), and may expand into other STEM competitions as opportunities arise. The Flower Mound High School Robotics Team is a self-funded program.
