The FMHS FRC program is gearing up for the 2025–26 build season with a Pre-Season Kickoff event on Sunday, December 14, from 2:00–4:00 PM in the FMHS Cafeteria. All FRC students and at least one parent are asked to attend, as this session will outline important expectations and logistics for the upcoming season.

During the kickoff, mentors will review pre-season goals, introduce leadership roles, and share guidance on how students can prepare for the January 2026 FIRST Robotics Competition challenge reveal. Parents will also receive updates on this year’s volunteer needs, which will be significantly higher due to the requirement to set up and maintain a dedicated practice field at an off-campus location.
