The FMHS Tech Club kicked off the 2025–26 season with exciting updates and important announcements. Meetings will continue every third Thursday of the month, and families are encouraged to subscribe to the FMHS calendar for reminders. Starting next year, students must be enrolled in a Robotics class to qualify for expense coverage at state and world tournaments. Communication remains centered on Slack, and at least one parent per student is required to join at fmhsrobotics.com/slack.

Our FTC teams had a remarkable 2024–25 season. Five teams advanced to the North Texas Regionals, and FMHS earned the title of UIL Winning Alliance Captain at the FIRST in Texas UIL State Championship. This marks the third consecutive year FMHS has secured a UIL State Championship, along with multiple awards in Inspire, Design, Motivate, Control, and Innovate categories.

Meanwhile, FRC continues with offseason events, including NTX on October 25–26, before the new season begins at kickoff on January 10, 2026.

The club is also excited to welcome back the TSA program, which offers a wide range of STEM competitions from robotics and design to podcasts and engineering challenges. Other highlights include a successful Tech Club Banquet with over 90 attendees.
