Explore robotics, meet or form the teams, and prepare for the new season.
We’ll be kicking off the FTC and FRC seasons, introducing our robotics programs, and sharing opportunities for students to get involved this year.

Flower Mound High School Tech Club invites students interested in robotics to attend its upcoming FTC & FRC Kickoff on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, from 6:00–7:00 p.m. in the Flower Mound High School Cafeteria.
Open to students in FMHS grades 9–12, the event will introduce the school’s two competitive robotics programs: FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) and FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC). Students will learn how each program works, meet other prospective team members, and find out how to get involved for the upcoming season.
The FTC program, BIOBUZZ, gives students hands-on experience designing, building, and programming mid-size robots to solve themed challenges.
The FRC program, BIOCORE, offers students the opportunity to work on larger-scale robots while developing technical, design, and teamwork skills.
The kickoff will provide an overview of both programs and help students determine which robotics experience best fits their interests. A parent is required to attend with each student.
